The Macedonians Army conducted offensives operation for 15 consecutive days without success. The NLA was at this time in range of the capital of Macedonia, Skopje with there rockets and mortal. The situation was at stalemate, this presented the perfect opportunity for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) negotiators to work a ceasefire. A mission was launch to remove the NLA from range of the capitals and create a buffer zone. This allowed the peace process to continue and evolve in the Republic of Macedonia we see today.
