Stop 8 -- Hazen House

(Building 22104)

Built in 1891 as “double officer’s quarters” with a capacity of two captains, the building housed two families. For many years it has been a guest residence for distinguished visitors and ranking officers. It was named after Major General William B. Hazen, the Chief Signal Officer of the Army in the 1880s.
